"Celebrity" Donkey Races
What are "Celebrity" donkey races?
"Celebrity" donkey races are an action packed comedy show with buckin' and dunkin' donkey races. it's great fun for people of all ages. for over
70 years Buckeye Donkey Ball Co. has presented the #1 family entertainment package featuring "celebrity" donkey races, basketball and baseball.
Each race will feature up to ten (10) riders racing over a closed course for an action packed hour and one/half show. Participants must ride real live donkeys start to finish. Some donkeys are
cooperative and some are uncooperative, and that's where the fun begins. There are five (5) elimination races with the first two finishers from each race or heat advancing to the championship "race-off." What a scream! We use small donkeys or burros for this spectacular show. You supply the popular, well-known local "celebrities" to ride in the show. The more popular the participants, the more successful your show will be. Misuse of our donkeys is never tolerated, and complaints from the
Humane Society or A.S.P.C.A. are non-existent. We are a longtime member of the American Donkey and Mule Society.
In between each race, our Master of Ceremonies will keep things moving while the riders for the next race are getting their numbered identification vests and finding out
which donkey they get to ride in their race.

Race Sponsorship: There are six (6) races, five (5) elimination races and one (1) championship or feature race. A sponsor adds their name to one or more of the elimination races at $100.00 a race. To sponsor the championship race would cost more, say $200.00. The sponsor
may also want to donate trophies to be given to the first three (3) finishers of the championship race. Using these figures you would collect $700.00 for race sponsorship. The sponsors would receive advertising just prior to the race they are sponsoring. When advertising for your fair and races, these sponsors could also be mentioned for sponsoring one or more of the races. |

Example: |
Entry fees: Let's say you have fifty (50) riders, the maximum. Let's say the entry fee is $50.00 each. You would collect $2,500.00 in entry fees. The
participants out of their own pocket or maybe get a business or company to put up the entry fee. Here again the participant or sponsor would get advertising while they are being introduced just prior to the race, as well as being mentioned in fair advertising if they sign up in time. Remember these figures are only examples of one way to help defray our costs. Your prices could be more or less than example. |
